2. Accessing the website

When you access our website, technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser and operating system are processed. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in a functional and secure website).

3. Contact form and inquiries

When you use our inquiry form, the data you enter (name, email, phone, country, topic, vehicle preferences/details, message) is processed to handle your request. Technically this is implemented via a mailto link: your details are prepared as an email draft in your local mail application to sales@auto-kress.de. Only when you actually send that email is the data transferred to us.

Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (inquiries prior to contract) and/or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in handling your inquiry). Your data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose of processing, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Data is not transferred to third parties unless required to process your inquiry or to comply with legal obligations.

4. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external provider (Lovable / Cloudflare, server locations within the EU / EEA). The host processes access data on our behalf (IP address, time, requested URL) to deliver the website reliably. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

5. Cookies and local storage

Technically necessary storage (e.g. your language preference and your cookie choice) is kept in local storage. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR / Sec. 25 (2) TTDSG.

With your consent we additionally use marketing cookies from AdRoll (provider: NextRoll, Inc., 2300 Harrison Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA). Purpose: reach measurement, retargeting and interest-based advertising. This may involve a transfer of personal data to the USA; NextRoll is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent) in conjunction with Sec. 25 (1) TTDSG. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Also with your consent we use the Taboola/Realize pixel (provider: Taboola.com Ltd., 16 Madison Square West, New York, NY 10010, USA; group headquarters in Israel). Purpose: reach and conversion measurement as well as retargeting within the Taboola/Realize advertising network. This may involve a transfer of personal data to third countries (including Israel and the USA); transfers are based on EU standard contractual clauses. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR (consent) in conjunction with Sec. 25 (1) TTDSG. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

6. Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State of your habitual residence.
